Ostrog - monastery

Boka - The Bay of Kotor

Lovcen - mountain, mausoleum

Mountain of Lovcen rises above the coastal region and is the backdrop of the city of Kotor. On the very peak of this mountain is placed the Museum of of Patrovici dynasty. Ada Bojana - coast

No one couldn't imagine that in the area on the mouth of River Bijana, where the boat of Antun Allegretti from Trogir, for over 120 years ago sank. Ada Bojana now days is an very popular nudist settlement, with guests from all over the world. Ada Bojana is surrounded in two sides with river Bojana and in one side with Adriatic Sea, making the second largest beach in Montenegro. Visiting island of Ada Bojana inside is possible only as a guest at nudist settlement of Ada Bojana, but this does not mean that the beauties of island Bojana can not been seen. On the banks of river Bojana there are many restaurants which provides the guests with fresh local fish specialties, made from the best kitchen maestros of this area.




Skadarsko jezero - Skadar lake

Scutari Lake represent the largest lake in Montenegro and Balkan peninsula, and second largest lake in whole continent of Europe. Scutari lake is divided from the Adriatic Sea by the mountain Rumija. Scutari lake is 50 km long and 14 km wide, and is located in south - east area of Montenegro. The surface of the Lake has not always the same surface. During the winter when there is much rain, the surface is 500 km2, and during the summer the surface is smaller and counts around 350 km2. The coast of the lake is very beautifull, consisted by many small villages and bays. On the lake there are many small islands, called "gorice". Not very far from Virpazar there are many sandy beaches on the shores of this magnificent lake. The natural phenomena of Scutari Lake is crypto-depression, which means that bottom of the lake is under the sea level and surface of lake is above the sea level.




Durmitor - mountain

Because of its indescribable beauty and untouched nature, as early as 1952, Durmitor was proclaimed a National park. National park Durmitor spreads from the mountain massive of Durmitor with canyons of the rivers Tara, Susica and Draga to the canyon valley of the river Komarnica. Giant Durmitor abounds in imposing mountaintops and numerous glacier lakes surrounded by rich evergreen forests. Fast and clear rivers gifted Durmitor with magnificent canyons among them the exceptional Tara River canyon as one of the most beautiful in the world. Plentiful flora and fauna of Durmitor attracts many nature lovers. Durmitor is World Natural Heritage.

In the very heart of Biogradska virgin forest is Biogradsko Lake, the largest glacier lake in this National park. Biogradska Gora abounds in cultural and historic heritage consisting of secret monuments, national buildings and archeological locations. Summer pastures and villages, lining the territorial boarders of the virgin forest of mountain Bjelasica, contain numerous authentic buildings of traditional architecture.
